MARCELA POZZO

Veterinary Technician

Marcela is an experienced veterinary technician who splits her time between our Delran location, our Marlton location and college, where she is pursuing a nursing career.

She assists the Doctors and Technicians in every aspect of daily practice.  A seemingly irrepressibly happy person, one of her job responsibilities is keeping the spirits of everyone high during busy, hectic times.  Marcela particularly loves our small canine patients.  Perhaps it will be no surprise that she has two dogs, a Lhaso Apso, Miyagi, and a Pekinese, Stitches.  She loves to travel, but spending time with friends and family, and simply cuddling her dogs, gives her great joy.  Marcela is also a great fan of New Age books.

STEPHEN WEITZNER,

Animal Caretaker

Stephen, Dr. Weitzner's son, is learning the veterinary practice from the ground up.  Still in high school, he cares for and plays with boarding patients, making sure that they get their walks and that no one goes hungry.  Stephen also assists the support staff wherever needed, from assisting with procedures and performing in-hospital tests to preparing samples to be sent out to reference laboratories.  His hobbies include the guitar, snowboarding, photography, and is becoming very savvy on the computer (all those hours online are paying off!).  At home, his family includes 2 dogs.

MARION KNAUS, CVT Veterinary Technician  (Photo Coming Soon!)

Marion attended Camden County College and holds credentials including AS, CVT and RLAT.  She provides medical treatment for hospitalized patients including drawing lab samples, performing radiographs, and preparing and administering medications.  Additionally, Marion assists with office visits, is very knowledgeable on animal health care and is able to answer all the client's questions.  Marion worked for Heritage Veterinary Hospital prior to going to the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Anesthesia Technician, later returning to us on a part-time basis because she missed working in private practice and interacting with pet owners.  She loves German Shepherds and has 2, "Cathy" and "Gunner", who are a beloved part of her family which includes husband Mark, 4 children and 3 granddaughters.

VICKY PALLET, RVT Veterinary Technician  (Photo Coming Soon!)

Vicky is a Registered Veterinary Technician and assists the doctors in all aspects of veterinary care including office visits, surgery and care of hospitalized patients.  She is able, because of her ongoing study, to put into practice the skills she learns in college on a daily basis.  Vicky is a valued asset, especially in the x-ray department and in performing dental cleanings.  Vicky has 2 cats, "Eeyore" and "Tigger", and 2 dogs, "Andy" and "Chloe".  In her spare time, she volunteers at her old high school, teaching color guard for the Marching Band.

STEVIE JOAN EDWARDS Veterinary Assistant (Photo Coming Soon!)

Stevie graduated from Deltran High School in 2004, and although she is the newest member of our support staff, she is a valuable one, helping out our technicians and doctors whenever needed.  She cares for our boarding and hospitalized patients by feeding, medicating, exercising and grooming them. Stevie takes every opportunity to learn new skills.

Shopping, bowling, going to movies and concerts with her boyfriend Chris, are just some of the things Stevie enjoys.  Most of all, she especially loves spending time with her family, which is completed by "Jazzy" the cat.
