BRUCE M. WEITZNER, VMD

Dr. Weitzner has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1981 specializing in Small Animal Practice.  He received his B.S. in Animal Science from Penn State in 1975 and his VMD from University of Pennsylvania in 1981.  A family man, he has five children and three grandchildren, so far.

Dr. Weitzner enjoys spending time with his wife Debbie and the kids, outdoor activities including camping, skiing, white water rafting and jogging.

Always eager to learn more, he attends continuing education whenever possible, even on his one day off a week. 

An alumni and BIG Penn State fan, he attends as many home games as possible.  Dr. Weitzner's three dogs, Duncan, a Golden Retriever, and Floyd, a Boxer, go to work with him every day and are well-known to his clients.  His latest addition is Gidget, a Miniature Poodle.

MARC E. ROSENBERG, DVM

Dr. Rosenberg is a graduate of Gregorio Aranteta University Foundation where he participated in an accelerated 6 year educational program and has been practicing veterinary medicine since 1987.  He takes every opportunity to attend continuing education classes and has a special interest in small animal medicine, specifically endocrinology.

Dr. Rosenberg is very active in his synagogue and enjoys reading legal novels and medical mysteries in addition to being an avid poker player.  He and his wife, Debbie, have two lovely daughters who enjoy coming to the office with him during school breaks to help with projects around the hospital.  They all share their home with two cats, "Oreo" and "Rosie".

HELPING OUT VICTIMS OF HURRICANE KATRINA

Here's Dr. Weitzner (far left) and his son Stephen, (second from left) along with fellow volunteers in Mississippi, July 2007 helping to repair homes that were damaged in Hurricane Katrina.

This was the second time the team volunteered in Mississippi, and everyone  was busy doing roof repair.  Here's Dr. Weitzner working on one of the roofs of a damaged house.

This July, he will be rehabbing houses in West Virginia.
