MEET THE STAFF OF

COUNTY LINE VETERINARY HOSPITAL

Meet two of our Veterinary

Assistants, Kate and Sharren

Our caring and compassionate technicians and veterinary assistants are here to help you with any questions or concerns you may have regarding your pet's health care and maintenance.

LINDA, CVT

Senior Veterinary Technician

Linda has been with our practice since Dr Weitzner opened the practice in March, 1993.  First as a Veterinary Technician, while completing her degree at Camden County College in Animal Science, and now 15 years later she is our Senior Veterinary

Technician / Office Supervisor.

She loves working with the animals and enjoys seeing the clients and patients return year after year. On any given day, she can be helping with appointments, obtaining X-rays, performing dental cleanings, assisting in surgery, training staff members to perform medical procedures & testing, to overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hospital.  She enjoys spending time with her family and friends. “Zowie”, a Basenji, “Pumper”, a Dalmatian and “Gracie”, a Calico kitty make up her family of pets. Known for her baking skills, she is routinely bringing goodies in for the employees but it does not stop there. She also makes dog biscuits, cat toys and pet bandannas that can be purchased at the office.

JOANNA, Veterinary Assistant

Joanna joined County Line in March, 2005 and cares for all of our boarding patients.  She loves taking the dogs for a walk and has become known as "Chatty Kathy" as we often overhear her chatting with the patients.  Joanna is also a veterinary technician assistant who helps our doctors during examination and treatment procedures.  She has 2 daughters, and 2 cocker spaniels named "Royce" and "Jagger".

Joanna enjoys reading and especially going out to eat!  Her hobbies include interior design and decorating her own home.  If there is ever a lost or injured animal in her neighborhood, you can be sure that Joanna is the first person everyone calls.

HILLARY, Veterinary Technician

Hillary has been with the practice since June 2003. She is cross-trained in all aspects of the hospital and is a valuable team member. When she first joined the staff, she was full-time but now with her Biology degree from Rutgers University, she is working full-time in Philadelphia and part-time here at County Line.  Hillary and her husband Len, share their home with Jake the dog and three cats, Gracie, Ollie and Percy. In her free time she enjoys tennis, shopping, going to concerts, out to eat and board games.

KRISTY, CVT

Veterinary Technician

Kristy holds an Associate Degree in Science and is a graduate of the Harcum College Veterinary Technology program.  She joined County Line in May, 2006 and is a Certified Veterinary Technician assisting our doctors with exams, obtaining lab samples, preparing patients for surgery along with assisting in surgery, performing dental cleanings, and taking care of both our medical patients and boarding patients.

Kristy enjoys shopping, going out to eat and spending time at LBI laying on the beach. She spends most of her time with her boyfriend, Andrew.  Kristy has 3 dogs, “Baby” a chow, “Koda”, a Pomeranian who is a little mama’s boy, and "Barnaby", who is a Pomeranian too.  She also has a kitty named “Schmoopy”.

Kate with "Krimpet"

KATE, Veterinary Assistant

Kate joined County Line in January, 2007 when she came to us from a local boarding facility and assists the support staff with everyday duties, such as pre operative care and x-rays. She also can be seen setting up the rooms and helping clients with any questions they may have. She has always had a love for animals, and has a golden retriever, "Gabby", who is a CGC and a boxer named "Hailie".

Kate also has a horse that she calls "Boo" and a chinchilla named "Chloe".  She enjoys learning every part of the veterinary field. In her spare time, she loves to go to the beach and ride her horse.

ED, Veterinary Assistant

Ed joined County Line in May, 2007 after he had been working in the human medical field for years as an EMT.   He is enjoying his time working with animals performing any tasks that are needed from assisting the technicians, laboratory testing, and exercising boarding patients.  Ed enjoys answering calls with the fire department & first aid squad to which he generously volunteers his time.

He is a fireman all the way, right down to being an animal guardian to his pal, “Pumper” the Dalmatian, who was adopted from the humane society. He enjoys spending time with his girlfriend, going out to eat and to the movies. Summertime brings weekend trips to the Jersey Shore.

COURTNEY, Veterinary Assistant

Courtney attended Widener University as a Biology and Pre-Vet major and joined County Line in May, 2007.  She graduated with a bachelors degree in Biology in May 2009 and plans on applying Veterinary School after gaining more full time experience at our hospital.  Courtney came to us with experience at a local boarding facility and is excelling at caring for our boarding patients.

Everyday brings a new opportunity to learn while she is assisting the veterinary technicians in their everyday duties from pre-operative care, surgery, dentistry, radiology and office visits. She has one dog at home, a shih tuz, named “Princess” that she loves, in addition to a cat named "Beaker" who is a ball of fun.  Courtney loves to go to the beach and hang out with friends, spend time with her boyfriend Jason, and go on as many vacations as possible.

SANDI, Veterinary Receptionist

Sandi joined County Line in January, 2008 where she came to us from a family doctor in the area. Sandi loves all animals and loves learning about them in every way. Sandi’s duties are answering phones and any questions our clients may have. And of course, greeting our furry family members when they walk in.  At home, Sandi has a boxer named “Hailie” and a horse named “Mick”.  In her spare time, Sandi likes to relax, go to the beach, and hang out with her husband and kids.

ALAN, Veterinary Assistant

Alan has been with County Line Veterinary Hospital since July of 2006 and is currently

attending classes at Penn State University taking the first steps to becoming a veterinarian.

Shelly with "Ava"

SHELLY

Veterinary Technician Assistant

Shelly joined the County Line Staff in February 2010 as an Veterinary Technician Assistant and already feels at home as part of the staff.  She helps out with running lab tests, filing, taking care of the boarders, and lending an extra set of hands to the other technicians.  Shelly goes home to her two spoiled rotten pups, Shayna and Cody, both shelter rescues.

Though she doesn't get very much free time as a junior at Eastern Regional High School, she loves to go out with her friends, listen to music, and spend summer weekends at her shore house in Margate.

COLIN, Veterinary Student

Colin is not currently working at County Line Veterinary Hospital as he is a bit busy . . . he is off to the University of Pennsylvania Veterinary School working his way toward his degree.

Hopefully, in a few years, he will be seeing patients at County Line!
